Case Study  /  Bank of Melbourne

IDEASEED CREATED A MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO AND POWERPOINT PRESENTATION FOR THE BANK OF MELBOURNE.

The Client

Bank of Melbourne (BOM) is the state of Victoria’s local bank. They have 106 branches spread around Victoria, all staffed by locals. They pride themselves on supporting the local economy and community.

Their Story

Bank of Melbourne wanted to introduce their new Vice President (VP) to their staff. They also wanted to use his introduction as a chance to communicate the bank’s current position, vision and to incorporate some team building exercises.

The Ideaseed Difference

We know that a presentation is not just about … presenting. It’s about building an atmosphere, telling a story, getting people to feel something.
We treat every presentation as an opportunity.

Our Service

Ideaseed crafted an event that was built around showing a motivational video and PowerPoint presentation to around 400 staff.

We Created

MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO

A mixture of text, staff images and live footage of things Victorians love, such as sport, music and wine over a pumping, motivational soundtrack.

POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

A 60-slide presentation describing the way BOM have helped their customers and built their fantastic team.

It incorporated ice-breakers and team activities as well as morning and afternoon break slides.

The Result

By creating a sense of occasion around the VP’s introduction, we delivered an experience to BOM staff that was much better than the average team-building session. This was energetic and exciting and it left staff feeling motivated and inspired to continue doing their best work.

By capturing the essence of Victoria, we could create a connection with BOM staff that made them feel included in the Bank’s vision for the future.

The fun atmosphere around the event made the new VP appear to be approachable and dedicated.

What They Said

“The video was amazing!! We achieved ALL our objectives from the day and we’re just looking at embedding activities now today, and beyond.

The PPT presentation worked brilliantly on screen and was impactful, slick and helped to land the key messages.

I couldn’t be happier with the vision work. It really hit the mark and I can’t wait to share it with the broader network of 1000 plus staff.

Overall, I’m really chuffed and thanks again for all the help!”
