Case Study  /  iseek

After a brand refresh, iseek required a suite of robust, easy to use Word And PowerPoint templates that would be used by a range of users and abilities

The Client

iseek is a leading Digital Infrastructure provider specialising in Data Centre, Cloud services and Connectivity solutions for Australia’s enterprise and government sectors. They specialise in Enterprise Cloud, robust Data Centres, Managed Connectivity solutions and multi-provider Internet services.

The Background

In 2022, the company wanted to revive their marketing collateral. As part of this refresh, iseek required Word and PowerPoint templates to be designed and built to support the new look and feel. The templates were to be used by the sales team and management to create consistent and professional-looking documents and presentations.

What We Did

The first step in the process was to perform a thorough analysis of the new style guidelines. This analysis helped us to identify the critical design elements needed to be incorporated into the templates, such as the new colour palette, imagery, and typography. We also considered the company’s target audience and the types of documents and presentations that would be created using the templates.

Once we had a clear understanding of the requirements, we began designing the templates. Because iseek were getting both a premium Word and PowerPoint template, we began with the extensive PowerPoint template, as this is where a large part of the design direction takes place. We took a bold visual approach and used the new colour palette and imagery to create a large selection of slide layouts that were visually engaging and easy to use. We also created custom graphics, full animation, and icons that can be used to add visual interest and highlight key points. The template included over 160 slide layouts, including covers, dividers, imagery, dashboards, and animated slides to cater to a variety of presentation types.

Once the PowerPoint template was approved, we rolled this established design into the Word template, ensuring that it remained user-friendly and easy to edit. As per the PowerPoint template, we also included graphic elements such as icons, imagery, dashboards, key messages, charts, tables, and custom graphics to help break up the content and make it more visually appealing. As a Premium Word template, we also included our custom DocuBuilder shortcut toolbar that makes creating Word documents as easy as PowerPoint presentations, where pre-designed page layouts can be inserted at the click of a button. Not only does this cut document production time, but it also ensures consistency across all collateral produced within Word.

Throughout the design process, we worked closely with iseek to ensure that the templates met their requirements and aligned with the new brand guidelines. We also provided training and support to ensure that the team could use the templates effectively.

The result was a suite of premium Word and PowerPoint templates that were visually appealing and easy to use. The templates were well received by the iseek team and have helped to create a more consistent and professional look across all internal and external collateral.
