Leighton Properties is the CIMIC Group’s property development company.

Their Story

Leighton Properties wanted to pitch a tender for a high profile building located in Canberra, Australia. This was to be based around a pre-designed retro-style logo.

In terms of the tender process, picture the perfect storm: A tight timeline (7 days), a huge submission to format (700 pages) and a requirement date before the longest public holiday of the year (the Thursday before Easter).

The Ideaseed Difference

We immediately identified a flaw in Leighton Properties’ internal process for creating bid documents: they used Adobe InDesign. This meant any team member not trained in the Adobe Creative Suite could not amend their pages direct, which would slow the whole process.

A TENDER RESPONSE

This tender response comprised 4 volume books (700 pages). The client required 5 copies.

The documents were presented with Canadian covers, wire binding and tab cut dividers (5 main tabs, 32 sub tab). Also included were 28 stickers adhered to each copy.

Our dedicated PitchPro team designed an editable submission template and seamlessly populated it with content, all within Leighton’s Properties’ branding guidelines.
