Modern Dental Pacific (MDP) is a leading provider of dental products and services in Australasia.

They have 6 brands under their umbrella, each with a different product range, but all with the same commitment to customer satisfaction, full service laboratories, expert guidance and peer-to-peer support.

Their Story

Southern Cross Dental produced a handbook called A Clinician’s Guide to Prosthodontics.

It is a ‘dental bible’; the go-to guide for information about dental practices, procedures and techniques.

The client wanted to update this handbook and rebrand it under MDP.

Our Service

Ideaseed reinvented the handbook under the MDP brand. We’re talking new title, design, colour palette, and look and feel so that this product was completely standalone.

A specific part of the brief was that the design had to be visually powerful and captivating.

We Created


This new handbook had 194 internal pages, separated into 9 chapters with eye-catching dividers. In addition we rewrote the copy for the overview chapters and introduction, and proofread the entire book from back to front before it went to press.

Titled, A Definitive Guide to Prosthodontics, the book’s concept is visually exciting yet neatly laid out with uniform headings, fonts, table designs and colour schemes.

The Result

By combining our team of project managers, designers, illustrators and copywriters, Ideaseed have created a premium quality physical product for MDP which not only gives them authority in the industry, it’s the perfect marketing tool to raise brand awareness.

Dentists will be drawn into the reference material and become familiar with the MDP brand from early in their careers. So, guess whose products they’re more likely to use in their practice? You guessed it.

Thanks to this handbook, MDP continue to hold their place as leaders in dental services.
