Sydney Water is Australia’s largest water utility. Their area of operations covers 12,700 km2 and includes Sydney, the Illawarra and the Blue Mountains regions.

Their Story

Sydney Water use templates for many internal and external documents. Their staff all use MS Office but their skills are at different levels. They therefore needed templates that provided a good experience for users with basic knowledge, as well as those with intermediate or advanced skills.

We designed a suite of MS Office templates with new functionality that adhered to the Sydney Water style guide.

MS OFFICE TEMPLATE SUITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

We created a suite of templates that were designed, styled and formatted consistently. They adhered strictly to the Sydney Water Style Guide, and were able to be used across MS Office 2016 and Office 365. They had a ‘Sydney Water ribbon’ built where staff could select different header/footer options, easily insert tables, breakout boxes and landscape pages and easily use the headings.

INSTRUCTIONS

A set of clear instructions for how to use the templates so that all users could access all the features in the same way.

This MS Office template suite was a big hit with staff who were happy to use the templates and adapt to a more streamlined approach to using company documents. These are set up in way that makes their tasks quicker and their working day easier.
