The Client

Westpac is an Australian multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in Sydney. It is known as one of the Big Four banks of Australia.

The Background

The workplace and business at Westpac are evolving and changing quickly – especially when it comes to technology-based business. The team wanted to recognise this and also encourage staff to evolve with the business.

We needed to create a motivational presentation for all staff so that they knew that they were seen as valuable assets and invited to come along for the ride into the world of hi-tech business.

What We Did

We developed and illustrated a set of fun animal characters based on our client’s specific requirements. They were to be colourful and bring joy and a comical element to the presentation that they were a part of.

The animals selected were chosen because they promoted certain characteristics (this involved having to research each animal’s traits, as well as read the relevant presentation content so the expression could be matched to the topic or point being made on the slide).

Consideration also needed to be given to what attire the animals were wearing and ideally not be too gender-specific.
