Which Digital Design Trends Will Make Your Brand Even Stickier In 2017?

As 2016 draws to a close, we thought we’d share which digital design trends we think will be big in 2017.We’ve been singing from this song sheet for ages and now we’re just upping the volume: video. Not the cute cats’ variety, but those that share valuable information and communicate the story of your brand.It’s a medium that works across all sectors and reaches all age groups. Here’s a few interesting stats* to digest:

• 59% of executives would rather watch video than read text.
• 75% of executives watch work-related videos on business websites at least once a week.
• 96% of B2B organisations use video in some capacity in their marketing campaigns.

Financial companies are using video to provide regular updates to shareholders, companies are using it to introduce new products and services to the market (e.g. Amazon Go), and government bodies are creating videos to communicate important messages.We recently produced a video (see below) for the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) who work in conjunction with schools to get the message of cyberbullying out to the middle primary classes. It is a hugely successful initiative with the kids actively engaging with the content.
