Background

The Bank of Melbourne is Victoria’s local bank, with 106 branches across the state. They pride themselves on supporting the local economy and community. BOM wanted to introduce their new Vice President to their staff and use this opportunity to communicate the bank’s current position, vision, and incorporate team-building exercises.

What we did

Understanding that a presentation is not just about delivering information, but about creating an atmosphere and telling a compelling story, we created an experience for around 400 staff members. We produced both a motivational video and a PowerPoint presentation that would engage and inspire BOM employees.

Motivational Video

We blended text, staff images, and live footage of iconic Victorian moments—such as sport, music, and wine—set to an energizing soundtrack. This video was designed to foster connection, pride, and motivation among the BOM team.

PowerPoint Presentation

A 60-slide PowerPoint deck was created, detailing the bank’s customer impact and the strength of its team. The presentation included ice-breakers and team activities, as well as slides forbreaks, ensuring a dynamic and interactive experience.

The result

The motivational video and engaging PowerPoint presentation created an unforgettable experience for the BOM staff. The introduction of the new VP became more than just an announcement—it became an energising event.

Staff left feeling motivated and connected to the bank’s vision for the future. By showcasing elements of Victoria’s culture and spirit, we helped foster a sense of belonging and pride among the team. The vibrant atmosphere made the new VP appear approachable, strengthening his connection with the staff and reinforcing the bank’s commitment to its employees.

The video was amazing!! The PPT presentation worked brilliantly on screen and was impactful, slick and helped to land the key messages. I couldn’t be happier with the vision work. It really hit the mark and I can’t wait to share it with the broader network.
